The Christensen Arms Ridgeline FFT Titanium is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Backcountry with a 20" barrel. That barrel is Christensen Arms 416R stainless steel with an Aerograde carbon fiber wrap, button rifled and match chambered, and it is free-floated for optimal harmonics. A removable titanium side baffle brake sits at the muzzle, so you can take it off if you prefer. The receiver is precision-machined titanium on the Remington 700 footprint, which helps this mountain rifle stay under 5 lb for hunters counting every ounce.
A TriggerTech trigger and a standard Rem 700 optics base interface mean you can mount a scope on a familiar pattern. The bolt has an enlarged aluminum knob, spiral fluting and an improved bolt release, and the enlarged ejection port gives spent cases more room to clear. The FFT carbon fiber sporter stock has carbon fiber bedding pillars, spot bedding and a recoil pad, and its monocoque shell makes it a full pound lighter than traditional composite stocks. Ammunition feeds from an internal magazine with an aluminum hinged floor plate, and billet aluminum bottom metal completes the action.
