The Christensen Arms MCR is a bolt-action rifle built on a Rem 700-style precision action under a 20 MOA optic rail, so a standard Rem 700 optic base fits and the rail gives you extra elevation for long-range scopes. Its free-floating, button-rifled barrel is Christensen Arms 416R stainless steel wrapped in Aerograde carbon fiber, and the 6.5 PRC chambering uses a 1:8 twist. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and carries a removable stainless steel RFR brake, so the rifle is ready for a suppressor once the brake comes off. In 6.5 PRC you can choose a 20" or a 22" barrel.
An adjustable TriggerTech trigger lets you set the pull to suit your preference. The skeletonized bolt handle with an oversized knob gives you a large, easy grip for cycling, and the action adds an improved bolt release and an enlarged ejection port. The FFT carbon fiber stock has a push-button adjustable cheek riser, spacers for length of pull, a full-length M-LOK forearm, an integrated forward Picatinny rail section and front and rear QD attachment points, so you can fit it to yourself and add gear. Rounds feed from a 3-round detachable magazine, and the rifle is finished in Black Cerakote with the FFT carbon fiber stock.
