The Christensen Arms MCR is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .300 PRC, built on a Rem 700-style precision action that sits under a 20-MOA optic rail and accepts a standard Rem 700 optic base. Its 24" barrel has a 1:8 twist and is made from Christensen Arms 416R stainless steel with an Aerograde carbon fiber wrap, button rifled and fitted with a match chamber. The barrel is free floating, so the stock does not touch it along its length. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and wears a removable stainless steel RFR brake, so the rifle is ready for a suppressor when you want to add one.
An adjustable TriggerTech trigger lets you set the pull to your preference, while the skeletonized bolt handle, oversized bolt knob and improved bolt release are designed for fast, confident cycling. The FFT carbon fiber stock has a push-button adjustable cheek riser, length of pull adjustable with spacers and an ergonomic hybrid grip, so you can fit the rifle to your shoulder and hand. A full-length M-LOK forearm, front and rear QD attachment points and an integrated forward Picatinny rail section give you several places to attach your gear. Rounds feed from a 3-round detachable magazine, and the receiver has an enlarged ejection port.
