The Christensen Arms MCR (Modern Carbon Rifle) is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 Creedmoor, built on a Rem 700-style precision action with a Christensen Arms precision-machined receiver. Its 20" barrel has a 1:7 twist and is a 416R stainless steel barrel with an Aerograde carbon fiber wrap, free floating, button rifled and fitted with a match chamber. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and wears a removable stainless steel RFR brake, so you can keep the brake on or swap in a suppressor. A 20 MOA optic rail sits on top and the action takes a standard Rem 700 optic base, which gives you familiar mounting options for your scope.
An adjustable TriggerTech trigger lets you set the pull to your preference, and the ergonomically designed hybrid grip gives your hand a defined place to sit. The skeletonized bolt handle ends in an oversized knob that is easy to grab, and an improved bolt release and enlarged ejection port round out the action. The FFT carbon fiber stock has a push-button adjustable cheek riser, length of pull adjustable with spacers, a full-length M-LOK forearm, front and rear QD attachment points and an integrated forward Picatinny rail section, so you can fit it to yourself and add gear. Rounds feed from a detachable magazine, so you reload by swapping magazines.
