The Chiappa 1863 Sharps Cavalry .50-70 Gov 22" rifle is a faithful reproduction of a classic percussion conversion Sharps, updated to fire modern metallic cartridges. Its single shot falling block action, color case hardened receiver, and hand oiled walnut stock come together in a balanced 39" package that captures the look and feel of an iconic cavalry carbine.

This 22" rifled barrel model in .50-70 Government is ideal for shooters who appreciate historical firearms, black powder cartridge shooting, or relaxed days at the range. Adjustable ladder rear and blade front sights support precise aiming, while the solid 8 lb build helps manage recoil from the big bore cartridge. It is a compelling choice for collectors and enthusiasts who value Chiappa Firearms’ attention to historical detail and craftsmanship.
