The Charter Arms Pitbull Nitride .44 S&W Spl 5rd Capacity 2.5" Barrel Full Grip Refurb delivers a compact, straightforward revolver built around Charter Arms’ proven Pitbull design. Chambered in .44 Special with a 5-shot cylinder, it uses a robust dual coil spring assembly in the extractor to securely hold each cartridge, eliminating the need for moon clips while keeping reloads simple and consistent.

This refurbished model pairs its 2.5 inch barrel with a full rubber grip on a large frame, giving shooters a controllable, comfortable platform in a relatively short, carryable package. Fixed sights, a standard hammer, and a durable nitride finish keep the focus on reliability, making it well suited for personal protection, home protection, and regular range practice. The Pitbull reflects Charter Arms’ long-standing reputation for practical, no-nonsense revolvers designed for everyday use.
