The Browning X-Bolt 2 White Gold Medallion Maple is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 7mm Rem Mag, aimed at hunting. Its 26" polished stainless steel barrel is free-floating with a target crown, so the stock does not touch the barrel along its length. The barrel is triple-checked for interior finish and straightness and air-gauged for uniformity, which means the bore is verified before you ever shoulder the rifle. The polished stainless steel receiver is engraved front and rear and drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can add an optic on standard mounts.

The three-lever Feather Trigger has no take-up or creep and very little over-travel, so the let-off stays simple and predictable. The Monte Carlo stock steps the comb sharply down toward the heel, which puts more of the recoil pad against your shoulder and sends recoil back in line with the stronger part of it. It is a gloss-finished, checkered maple stock with a raised cheekpiece, and the forend and grip cap are rosewood. Stainless steel on both the receiver and barrel gives the rifle its stainless finish.
