The Browning X-Bolt 2 White Gold Medallion Maple is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC, built around a 24" barrel. The stainless barrel has an octagon profile with a polished finish, and it is free-floating with a target crown, so the barrel is not pressed against the stock along its length. Browning checks the bore for interior finish and straightness and air-gages it for uniformity, which tells you the barrel is inspected before the rifle ships. The polished stainless receiver is engraved at the front and rear and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can mount a scope directly on it.
