The Benelli M2-G1 Tactical is a semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun with a smoothbore 18.50" barrel and a modified choke. Operation comes from the R.P.O. design, which mounts a pair of short-stroke pistons close to the chamber and keeps the recoil spring assembly clear of carbon fouling. The chamber accepts 2-3/4" and 3" shells, and the magazine tube holds 5 rounds.
