The Benelli M2-G1 Tactical is a 12 gauge autoloader with an 18.50" barrel that accepts both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. Its Rear Piston Operated gas system places a pair of short-stroke pistons close to the chamber, which keeps fouling exposure down. The recoil spring assembly is isolated from carbon and debris buildup, and the recoil system is housed in the stock. The magazine tube holds 7 rounds, and an enlarged, beveled loading port speeds up reloads.

A 5-position telescoping stock in black synthetic adjusts length of pull from 9.25" to 14", and it is paired with an upgraded pistol grip. Ghost ring sights are fitted at the factory, and a Picatinny rail allows easy optic mounting. The forend has M-LOK slots for lights and other accessories, and QD positions allow sling attachment. The receiver and barrel carry a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish, while the operating components are parkerized and the controls are enlarged.
