The Athena V3 from Atlas Gunworks is a 9MM double-stack 2011 pistol that arrives with an Aimpoint ACRO P-2 red dot already paired to it, so it is set up for the range from the start. It runs a 4.60" bull barrel, and the ACRO optic plate mounts the optic directly to the pistol. The included Aimpoint ACRO P-2 is an enclosed 1X red dot sized at 3.5 MOA, and its single CR2032 battery is rated for as long as 50,000 hours, which means few battery changes.
The blue short flat trigger breaks at under 2 lb, which gives you a crisp, consistent sub 2 lb pull. Black shielded ambidextrous safeties with a right-hand bias put the controls within reach of either hand, and the shielding keeps them protected. A tactical magwell and a 20-round capacity keep reloads fast, and 3 magazines come with the pistol. The all DLC black finish gives the pistol a uniform appearance from slide to frame.
