The Arsenal SAM7K SBR is a semi-automatic short barrel rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm and built on a milled receiver. Its 8.5" barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined. The front sight block is threaded in the standard Krink configuration with 24x1.5mm RH threads, and a thread protector ships with the rifle. Fire control is an enhanced FIME group, and the action is semi-automatic.

The CNC machined aluminum buttstock assembly has a 1913 Picatinny attachment, an ambidextrous cheek rest, 4 QD ports and a rubber pad. Controls include a manual safety and adjustable sights, and the grips are polymer. The rifle comes with one 10-round magazine, a sling, a cleaning kit, a cleaning rod and an oil bottle. The finish is Flat Dark Earth, with the handguards, pistol grip, buttstock and magazine matching that color.
