The Arsenal SAM7K SBR is a semi-automatic AK-pattern short barrel rifle chambered in 7.62X39, built on a milled receiver. Its 8.50" barrel is cold hammer forged and chrome lined. The front sight block is threaded 24x1.5mm right-hand, and a thread protector comes with the rifle. A FIME enhanced fire control group is fitted to the semi-automatic action.

The stock is a machined aluminum unit that mounts to the rear of the rifle on a 1913 Picatinny interface, with a rubber pad, an ambidextrous cheek rest and four QD sling ports. A manual safety is fitted, and the handguards and grip are black polymer, the grip following a SAW-style shape.
