The Arsenal SAM7K-28GY is a semi-automatic AK short barrel rifle chambered in 7.62X39 and built on a milled receiver. Its 8.50" barrel is cold hammer-forged and chrome-lined for durability and corrosion resistance. The front sight block is threaded 24x1.5mm right-hand, so common AK muzzle devices can be fitted.

The buttstock is CNC-machined aluminum and sits on a 1913 Picatinny interface, with an ambidextrous cheek rest, 4 QD sling points and a rubber butt pad. Fire control is a FIME-enhanced group meant to give a cleaner pull, and the rifle has an external safety. The handguards, grip, buttstock and the included 10-round magazine are all gray, and the box also holds a sling, cleaning kit, cleaning rod, oil bottle and thread protector.
