The Akkar 612 Sharp Spur is a 12 gauge shotgun, so you can shop for ammunition in one of the most common shotgun gauges. It carries a 24" barrel, a length that gives you a longer sight radius than a shorter tube would. The barrel is listed as VR, and the gun is listed for 3.5" shells, so you can run 3.5" 12 gauge loads through it.

The gun wears a Mossy Oak camouflage finish, which helps break up your outline when you are out in the field. That finish is applied to a 12 gauge with a 24" barrel, so the camo and the barrel length come together in one gun. Akkar lists it under the 612 Sharp Spur name, which makes it easy to pick out from other models in the line.
