The Akkar 612 Homestead DEF is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun with a 3" maximum chamber, so it accepts shells up to 3" long. Its ribless 18.5" barrel carries a fixed cylinder choke, which means there are no choke tubes to track or lose. Working the pump by hand gives you quick follow-up shots.

A cross-bolt safety sits on the trigger guard, and it is easy to operate, so the shotgun stays safe to handle until you are ready to fire. The black synthetic pistol-grip butt stock and forend are polymer, and a recoil pad on the stock adds to a comfortable grip and solid control. The lightweight aluminum alloy receiver has a built-in 1913 rail, so you can mount a red dot or other optic without adding a separate base.
