The United Gunworks Alpha is a full-size, double-stack 9MM 2011 pistol built on a full-size steel frame, and this package includes a Trijicon SRO with a 2.5 MOA green dot. Its 4.50" match-grade Ultra-Ported island barrel vents gas upward through the top of the barrel to reduce muzzle rise. The ultra-low-mass slide cuts reciprocating mass to shorten the return to zero, and the optics-ready slide comes with an RMR/SRO plate. The SRO has a forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing, an RMR footprint and a CR2032 battery, with automatic brightness plus 8 adjustable settings (2 night vision, 6 visible).

The flat-face trigger breaks crisply at 2-3 lb and is described as having a clean, repeatable reset.
