The Foxtail Precision 100016 Rear Sight Dovetail Optic Adapter Plate for S&W M&P/M&P 2.0 offers a clean, low-profile way to mount a red dot on pistols that are not optics ready from the factory. Machined from 7075 aluminum and finished in black anodizing, this plate installs in the factory rear sight dovetail and provides a secure interface for Burris FastFire, Vortex Venom, and Docter pattern optics.

This adapter is ideal for shooters who want to upgrade their Smith & Wesson M&P or M&P 2.0 for improved sighting at the range, in competition, or for training without replacing the slide. By replacing the rear sight, it keeps the optic as low as possible for a more natural sight picture. Foxtail Precision is known for thoughtful designs and careful machining that deliver reliable mounting solutions for modern pistols.
