About Our Charlotte, NC, Concealed Carry Classes

We know the decision to conceal carry is an important one — a choice that bears incredible responsibility. That’s why we provide top-quality courses from our state-of-the-art facility designed to help you understand your role in keeping yourself and those around you safe. Each course is led by experts who have decades of experience in law enforcement and the firearm industry.

We offer CCH courses for residents in North Carolina. These classes provide our guests with the state-mandated information and qualifications to legally conceal and carry their firearm where allowed.

Each CCH Class Consists of:

• Eight hours of classroom instruction, reviewing, in depth, self-defense laws and North Carolina concealed carry laws
• A (1) hour lunch break
• Live fire qualifications on the range where you’ll fire 50 rounds from 3, 5, 7 and 9 yards

Provided Items

• A firearm rental, although we encourage you to bring your own handgun and ammunition, if possible, to ensure you are comfortable with the firearm you plan to carry
• Rental eye and ear protection
• A qualification target

Ammunition for this course is not provided, but rest assured, we carry a variety of ammunition that will be available for purchase on the day of your course! To ensure the proper function and longevity of our firearms, participants qualifying with Blackstone’s rental firearms will need to purchase our approved ammunition on the day of the course. Only 50 rounds (1 box) of target ammunition is needed for the qualification section of this course.

Equipment Needed

Blackstone has all the equipment you’ll need at the range, so you’ll be fully prepared to take the class even if you don’t own a firearm, yet.

Lunch Options

A 60-minute lunch break will be given half-way through the course. Students are welcome to bring their lunch with them or grab a bite from one of the many amazing restaurants nearby!
